Official Invitation:
A letter of invitation is required for applicants within the following

sponsor (either host company or individual) explaining the relationship to the
applicant, purpose of travel, length of stay, place of stay, and contact
information.
Please note the following specifications for each jurisdiction.
Chicago: The letter of invitation must have the
Chinese Municipal seal.
San Francisco and Houston: Letter of invitation must
be original and must have the Chinese Municipal Seal. |

generated flight itinerary from the airline or a travel agency, and/or copy of airline
ticket. Applicants within Houston jurisdiction must provide a copy of airline
ticket. |

Hotel Confirmation: Please provide one copy of confirmed hotel and/or cruise
reservation(s.) If staying in various hotels, please provide copies of each
reservation. A letter from inviting family member or friend is required if they
are providing accommodations to the applicant. |

Applicants requesting a multiple entry visa to China
must provide a letter stating the need for a multiple entry visa and the dates
of future travel to the country. |

Business Letter:
Letter from employer or sponsoring company, on company letterhead, introducing
the applicant, indicating the applicant’s employment status/position held in the
company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit to China. The business letter
must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant,
provide detailed contact information in host country, and specify the number of
entries being requested. |
